Welcome, Spring! Enter the Sakura.

Welcome, Spring! Enter the Sakura.

I hate winter.  I'm sure you're over it as well.

Thank goodness it's the first day of spring!

If you're from the Northeastern part of the US, I hope you're finally thawed out!!!!!

Unrelated, today is actually my birthday.

Yay.  Another year into my 40s.

Ok enough rambling.  Any who, I always get excited for longer days and warmer temps.  Longer days mean more time to make some awesome memories with the ones you love.  More hikes, gorgeous sunsets, day-drinking, and sunbathing!

Annnnnd, we're getting closer and closer to Halloween!

Ok, I'm trying my best to keep my ADHD in check.  Getting back to spring!

One thing about this season I adore is the photos of the cherry blossoms that bloom over in DC.  I've been there numerous times, but never for when the cherry blossoms bloom!

Cherry blossoms, known in Japan as ‘sakura’, are believed to have originated in the Himalayan region prior to us humans existing. According to scientists, there is believed to be 300 species of cherry blossoms. Evolution, bitch!

Cherry blossoms are deeply rooted in Japanese culture. It is a symbol of how short and fragile, yet beautiful life can be.

If you’ve followed me for a bit on Instagram, you’ll often hear how my lessons of working with the deceased shows my appreciation of the fragility of man.

As you can already tell, these reasons are why I created the candle: "It's Cherry Poppin' Season!

("Ohhhhhhh, you dirty dirty guy/gal!  You thought I meant something else! )

Well, I had to grab your attention somehow.

Our "ICPS!" candle has notes of cherry blossoms, vanilla and jasmine.  It's a perfect and delicate balance of floral notes guaranteed to refresh your household.

Happy spring, y'all!  Cheers to brighter days (HA!)
