Farewell NY....and Hello Tennessee! Skeleton Crew Creations is moving!

If you haven't heard, we're moving!

After spending my entire life in New York, my family and I will be setting new roots in Tennessee.  

Prior to moving up to the Hudson Valley, I lived in the Bronx.  Living in the Bronx, to get anywhere is pretty convenient.  Everything is walking distance or a short subway ride away.  Moving up to suburbia was quite the shock to me.  Fifteen minute drive to get anything, dark roads, and wildlife.  I used to get excited seeing a deer or raccoon in my yard (and still do!). My first few years adapting to that change, I slowly realized that having a slower, more chilled out environment is what my soul craved. 

Then, I began traveling to more rural destinations on vacation.  From the north-woods of Maine to hanging out in ranches hunting boar in Mid-Texas, I really began to love the idea of a rural life. 

Fast-forward to now, we're transitioning to a completely rural life-style. Thirty-five minute drive to a decent grocery store, minimal cell service, no bright city or town lights, and MORE wildlife!

And I have to say, I'm extremely excited.  Even the idea of low-level homesteading is interesting to me!

Plus, I get more dogs...and cats...and maybe some ducks.

But, what does this mean for Skeleton Crew Creations?

Don't worry, SCC isn't going anywhere!  I have a ton of plans for SCC with this move.  With the move, comes a much larger work-space!  Which means many more creations that I've had to put on the back-burner in my tiny studio will come to fruition!

I'm currently working on a spring collection launch with new skull candle scents, and a jewelry line!  So stay tuned for more!
